Front Range climate specifics

Polar Tint Parker North’s product mix is climate-tuned for the Front Range:

  • Altitude UV: Parker sits at ~5,800 ft elevation. UV intensity is materially higher than at sea level. Every Polar Tint Nano Ceramic film blocks 99% UV across the VLT range.
  • Winter de-icer chemistry: Colorado roads see heavy magnesium chloride and brine treatments. 3M ceramic coating — multi-year and lifetime tiers — adds chemical resistance against road salt etching.
  • Hot summers, cold winters: low-E insulating residential film handles both directions — keeps heat in during winter, out during summer.

Colorado tint law

Colorado sets a 27% VLT minimum on the front side windows, the rear side windows and the back window. Anything behind the driver may go darker only if the front side windows and windshield allow at least 70% VLT. We’ll walk you through every VLT option for your vehicle and where each one falls relative to the law, so you can choose with full information. See the window tint law guide for details.
